1949: The Green Camp
1949: Our Great Grandfather Obie Egglefield purchased the property. He built the foundation across from the car park. From the stories I've heard he stuck an ice shanty on it, figured out how to get water from a spring up the hill, and added a few rooms.
We called it the "Green Camp." The rooms didn't line up quite right. I'm a little surprised we didn't get electrocuted. We kept a spare bedroom there. Either for practice overnights or when family came to visit.
